Sheikh Imam Baksh Nasikh (Urdu: امام بخش ناسخ) (1776–1838) was an Urdu poet of the Mughal era. Imam Baksh Nasikh was the founder of the Lucknow school of Urdu poetry. He was born in Faizabad in 1776. In his early days he had joined the darbar of Nawab Mohammed Khan.
Sir Muhammad Iqbal, widely known as Allama Iqbal, was a poet, philosopher, and politician, as well as an academic, barrister and scholar in British India who is widely regarded as having inspired the Pakistan Movement.
